Our Principles

Our customer service is second to none:
All enquiries are answered straight away by our secretary or Tom himself, we arrange quotations and work to accommodate clients as much as possible. We adhere to the latest Health and Safety legislation and Tom is available to discuss any matters of procedure before, during and after the work.

Our Team

We are proud of the fact that all employees are courteous, prompt, well presented and have a genuine interest in the work they carry out. Their workmanship is second to none and all are trained to the relevant British standards and more.

Tom Boswell has been involved with Arboriculture for over 8 years. He started tree climbing for several larger firms before setting up Tom Boswell Tree Services in 2005.

Qualifications include:
City and Guilds in Arboriculture
Industrial rope access training (IRATA Level 1)
First Aid training.
All relevant National Test Proficiency Certificates (NPTC 30, 31, 36, 38, 39)
Arboricultural Association Technicians Certificate (AA Tech Cert.)

Chris has been with us for over 6 months now and has proved himself a reliable and focused asset to the company. He holds all the necessary industry qualifications and is a methodical and competent climber. Chris was previously a combat medic in the Army so his First Aid skills are exceptional.

A new addition to Tom Boswell Tree Services, Craig comes to us with 15 years tree working experience. Craig worked for a considerable time at Harrow Council’s tree department so he is well versed in the safety considerations of modern tree work. Craig is also a TA reserve soldier so like Chris, he is a competent first aider as well as holding a HGV license.

Originally from South Africa, Shane has considerable experience with engines. As well as working as a groundsman for us, he also fixes 99% of our mechanical issues when they arise. Shane has an admirable work ethic and carries out his tasks in a safe and composed manner.

Tim has worked extensively in the past for us and is working intermittently for us throughout this summer. Tim is originally from Australia but learnt many of his skills in London. He is an excellent tree surgeon and reliable worker. He plans to return home later on in the year to pursue tree work in Australia.

Lloyd can be seen in the case studies removing the large Sycamore in Twickenham. Lloyd, as with Tim, acts as a dependable replacement should he be called upon and the pictures amply demonstrate his removal skills.
