Tree and Stump Removal,
Cambridge Road,
Twickenham

Project type
Tree and stump removal.

Project brief
To dismantle a large Sycamore tree.

Project Description
Our original specification was to reduce this tree by one third to improve light in our client’s garden. After the Ivy was removed from the tree a large cavity was revealed. This meant removal was necessary, especially as it was in close proximity to houses and a Church. The tree was inside a Conservation area so further consent was required from Richmond Council before more extensive work could be carried out. A reduction had been granted but Tom liaised with the tree officer and after several emails and telephone calls the Councils tree officer gave the go ahead to fully remove the tree after a five day (dead, dying or diseased) notice period. Lloyd (climbing) carefully removed the tree in sections along with Chris and Shane on the ground. Once at ground level Shane used our stump grinder to remove the main bowl of the tree to approximately 8 inches below ground level.
