We were contacted by FR Morris, a ground works contractor, to carry out the removal of a large Lime tree. This was done to allow the building of an extension at the School.

FR Morris needed the works done as soon as possible so after a check at Richmond Council to see that the tree was not protected, we commenced works 3 days after the call came through.

Whilst cutting the trunk into sections it was found to be almost entirely hollow. The tree had in fact been very dangerous and highlighted the need to carry out regular assessments on trees in high target areas.
