Project type
Tree surgery.

Project brief
To lift the lower branches of a sycamore tree.

Project Description
We were initially contacted by our client with a spec to lifting the canopy of the tree to around 8m in height. The tree was in a very confined position and this resulted in the surrounding gardens being very shady. After lifting the tree it was decided that a light crown reduction would benefit the client and surrounding neighbours more. We reduced the crown by around 25% and gave sufficient clearance from the buildings. Due to the location of the tree the debris was taken through the building. Dustsheets were laid on the floor and the branches were cut into manageable pieces.
